At Affinity Recovery, we know how difficult it can be to reach out for help while struggling with substance abuse. We provide clinically managed detox services that are designed to be the ideal start of any addiction treatment program. Our experienced staff works day and night to take the stress out of recovery and welcomes our clients with comprehensive care at our luxury drug rehab center. Above all, we are committed to providing every individual with the skills and resources necessary to thrive in their sobriety after completing an addiction recovery program. Through the use of a clinically managed detox, our clients leave Affinity Recovery with a renewed sense of purpose and maximized potential. Affinity Recovery’s detox center is a fully licensed and state certified facility. Our program is designed to provide a safe and healthy environment in which to recover. Clients can expect to receive extensive emotional, physical, and spiritual support as they stay at our men’s or women’s residential facilities. Our comfortable luxury settings include group time, yoga, exercise in our beautiful swimming pools, and more. We keep a small client count in order to be able to provide the maximum amount of care to each individual who has come to us for treatment. Detox is important to undergo at the beginning of treatment. This is the process that allows the brain and the body to begin to communicate in an uninhibited manner. Once the client’s system is free of all foreign toxins, the brain will prompt the body to recognize that it is no longer reliant on alcohol or substance abuse to survive. Comprehensive assessments are administered to determine what level of support each client needs for detox.

This was my first time in recovery and I promise my last! The staff are all recovered addicts so they are the best team to help in recovery. Everyone was so understanding and helpful. Everyone cared about the clients and our well being. We were well fed, loved, and taken in like family. Kendall was absolutely amazing and helpful, and I'm overly grateful to have her help me through my recovery. Sam and Nelson helped me so much through it all too and all the rest of the staff as well. I will never forget everyone here and I consider it an absolute blessing to come here. I will hold them all in my hearts forever. Love you Affinity! ❤️ Thank you so much!!!

Yikes. This place is not only disorganized and dirty, but also incredibly unsafe. Groups rarely ever happen and when they do hardly on time. The floors have holes in which bugs get in, I saw several cockroaches during my 30 day stay. I saw 3 fights during this time, one girl had a bottle of vodka in her bag which the staff seemed to 'miss' during her check-in. Fetanal and Heroin were being used here regularly. They actually found it and nobody got kicked out- I am assuming as a result of the facility not wanting to lose that insurance money. One of the managers got physical with a client when she tried to leave- she had to call the cops to get out of this 'at will' facility. There is no chef- clients prepared all their own food and the staff eats it. This is not a good position to put malnourished recovering addicts in at all. My case manager was dismissive and belittling- I always felt like I was a problem when I needed to go to her as my 'advocate.' Speaking of advocacy, they hate when you advocate for yourself yet don't want to get anything done themselves. I was made many false promises by admission which is a tactic they use to get you in the door. If you are serious about getting better in a supportive, therapeutic setting that focuses on healing and empowerment- there are many other facilities in the Palm Desert.

The staff here is great. Sam Bishop and Evan helped me so much. Sam is not only genuinely a caring staff member. He is passionate for his job and connects on a human level that gives hope and encouragement. I believe that testimony and giving your own story and background like Sam, Evan and Mona do is a huge part of giving hope to clients and also bringing joy to the facility. Sam also made sure that if I needed anything I would get it promptly. Thank you to affinity staff. Sam, Evan and Mona for showing how much you care.

This was my first time in recovery and it was successful, I finally have my life back and I'm in full control with the confidence and strength I need to live a clean, happy, sober life. I highly recommend Affinity Recovery 10/10
