This is the worse place I have ever worked at. I worked here as a nurse immediately after obtaining my license. They gave me only two days on the floor of training and when I asked about more training the scheduler told me to keep practicing on the floor until I catch the flow of things. When Something was done incorrectly they write you up. The lady who trained me was late every day. Some of the staff unprofessional and dating each other one being a supervisor. The over night staff sleep in the lobby or in their cars. As a nurse do not choose this shift you will not get help. Upper management is not understanding. You literally feel like you are in your own corner. The place need to be renovated. Do not risk your license here. It’s a horrible place to work especially as a new nurse.

This place is HORRIBLE! The short, little on the heavier side receptionist at the front desk that wears glasses & has short hair with highlights is rude & lazy! Will snap at you, huff & puff then roll her eyes bc u ask her to do something that's within her job scope! This shows that she's too lazy to do her job & rather sit at that front desk & do NOTHING, then to help those who needs it regarding patients!! Her attitude is disgusting & she shouldn't be the face front of the company when you walk in if this is the kind of behavior she displays!! And the social worker (MARIA) is even worst !!! (MARIA) will talk to u rude & raise her voice with major attitude & address ur loved one's situation with no regard for care! Her mouth is explosive & she shouldn't be appointed a position to speak to ppl if she's going to yell at them!! And the head of PT is just as bad! They are stone cold LIARS too!! They lied about the progression of a loved one!! These women don't care about the patients and if you are in ANY level of Healthcare, no matter the position, care should ALWAYS be # 1 PRIORITY!!! These careless ppl are just there to collect a pay check! Don't bring your family here!! They DON'T care!!

I’m writing this specifically to sing the praises of and thank their former Activity Director, Debbie. Today 5/21/2021 was her last day. My mom has been at Alameda HC since a December 2017. There have been a number of good staff who have provided care to my mom and I am grateful to all of them but Debbie went out of her way to assist especially on Mother’s Day. I will always cherish the memories created that day. My mom remembers moments that would not have been possible without Debbie’s support and dedication to her clients. I have had many moments of contention with their management and Alameda HC can’t seem to keep an Administrator but Debbie and other staff like her balance those out. Thank you Debbie for your service and please know I hold deep gratitude for your love and care for my mom. I wish you well as you move forward into the next chapter of your life.

Horrible experience. They don’t answer their phones. I’ve found they don’t always tell the truth. Some of their staff are rude. The cordless phone is always missing, it’s not charged, or the staff doesn’t know where it is. I mailed brand new lumberjack shirts that my love one never received. I confirmed they were delivered. My love one complains constantly about being cold. He is cold natured and they have him in a short sleeve shirt and shower shoes. Since the pandemic and no family visits are allowed. Phone calls are the only form of communication.
