First and foremost, this place is an extremely welcoming, caring and safe environment to be in. I learnt how to trust again in group therapy, the staff and peers are very caring, and your welfare is their highest priority. What I didn’t expect, which was lovely, was how many laughs I had and how much fun I had along the way. The other thing is the intimacy I got with other peers - the real sense of closeness that comes from sharing deep, painful experiences - which is hard to find in the real world. Thank you!

Admission is the key to healing. I was in a downward spiral and couldn't break free. I needed to get away and get my life together! This place was the life change that I needed. This facility offered individualized treatment plans, by trained professionals, that taught me skills that helped me get sober. The counseling sessions were a chance to talk and group sessions were a place to hear others speak and realize that you were not alone. They helped me to see things in a different light and I hope that the facility will continue this part of the program. Thanks to the team that helped me be a better me.
