Mission Statement

The mission of AMI Behavioral Health Services is to assist individuals with their behavioral health concerns:

To overcome addictions, learn to control occurrences of anger, reconcile Domestic Violence issues and complete all required legal terms and conditions from the courts.

Our goal is to help clients understand the thoughts and feelings that influence behavior and to provide them with the coping skills necessary to replace old life style patterns with positive and effective changes.

Our objective is to mainstream clients back into the community, to assist them in overcoming the stigma associated with mental health issues, and to regain their position in society.

AMI's desire is that each client who completes our program, goes on to having a meaningful and productive life.

As certified and licensed professionals, we teach skills to handle behavioral actions that can be destructive to yourself and others by providing tools to improve such actions in the future.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went here on October 19th, 2021 for my Revocation Packet to be done to get my DL back. The counselor told me that it would be sent either the same day or at least the next day since my appointment was around 2:45 PM. Here I was thinking for almost a month now that it was sent and should be hearing a decision very soon; I have my car ready, it's got insurance, SR 22, and interlock, but just need my license. I talked to the MVD today and they asked me to call AMI and ask how long it's been, so I did. So... I asked when I did my Revocation Packet screening done, the lady told me October 19th. Ok, cool. Next: when was the Revocation Packet sent? She told me: November 9th. What?!?! Are you serious? It took them 3 weeks to send it!!!! I am very disappointed and angry that it took them 3 weeks! I've been waiting here for nothing, paid all that money for insurance, SR22, and interlock for nothing! And that's not including the $175 I spent for them to make me wait all these weeks for nothing! I would like to know WHY it took them 3 WEEKS to send it out, especially when it's all electronically. It's completely unacceptable, frustrating, and just plain ridiculous. There's absolutely NO reason why it would take them 3 weeks to send something out when they could have done it within minutes or hours. I do NOT recommend this place if you're trying to get your license back.

This place is a total joke and rip off. They'll charge for everything they can. Would rate zero stars if could. Please take your classes somewhere else

Spent the past month working with an anger management specialist at AMI who changed my life. I can't recommend this place enough for helping confront the underlying grief and trauma at the basis of the anger and addiction issues I face. Do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation to start your journey to enlightenment.
