I thought this place was going to be a Godsend but it has not worked out this way at all. I do not want to go into detail but treatment was not received due to issues on their end. I paid them the $6000 copay and another $1000 that the insurance did not cover. For months I have been trying to get the $7000 refunded. They keep telling me they are working on it and I have tried to be understanding but it’s Christmas now and we need the money. It has been months. I have also contacted the insurance company to ensure they were refunded. Just very disappointed at how the intake went and now they are not even answering me about the refund. So now I have to get a lawyer which is sad.

I would not recommend sending your husband here for sex addiction therapy! I believe that this place lacks morals and fails to understand the meaning of the word marriage vows or family. They call the person your husband is having an extramarital affair with the affair “partner”. A “partner” implies a longer lasting relationship /partnership which Blue Tiger facilitates! In my particular situation, they had the “affair partner” in therapy sessions via phone with my husband without my knowledge. When I discovered my husband was allowed full access to his phone and contact with his married mistress at any time during his 14 day stay, the therapist told me that my husband made commitments during the Blue Tiger therapy to the affair partner that he needed to keep!!! We are talking about a 50 year old married man having an affair with someone else’s 50+ year old wife! In my opinion, there was a true failure for Blue Tiger to recognize the marriage vows taken 20+ years earlier should have prevented any other commitments. Should a sex addiction clinic allow further contact with the mistress and invite the mistress into therapy? The therapist asked me about my “tolerance” of the continuation of the affair during marriage - as if that really is an option! There was so much nonsense going on during “recovery” that I can’t imagine that they have recovery success - I believe I was quoted 80 percent on the phone which I now can’t imaging is true after seeing how they operate. The whole program from my perspective was a waste of time and money.

I had a dear friend who I've known for a long time, who chooses to remain anonymous, that went through the Sex Addiction Intensive Bootcamp at Blue Tiger Recovery. What a different person!! Their negative and unhealthy lifestyle has been replaced with hope, new skills for intimacy and how to lead a productive life. Thank you to Terry Gatewood and Blue Tiger Recovery. I have my loving friend back in my life and we are closer than ever!

Most excellent when it comes to Sex Addiction Recovery. A must if you can afford to go. Gives you tools and gave me everything I needed to succeed.
