Wonderful facility in a quite neighborhood. Excellent staff members, helpful and always reliable. I felt at home the moment I stepped in. Friendly environment. The perfect place to recover and get the time to think about and for yourself. Met friends and shared with them like a family. Great private and double rooms, plenty if space, full of entertainment TV services. Great Swimming pool with hot tub . Brand new BBQ: we grilled every day!

This center lacks compassion, competence, and owes me $7000! Two months ago i paid this California Centers for Recovery in Manhattan Beach $7,000 upfront to save my friend's life. He checked in and the very next morning they didn't have the medicine he needed to ease his withdrawals and they were waiting for it to arrive. He was then irritable - as all persons with substance abuse are - and they called the police on him and he was back to the street moments later. Back to the very fate i was trying to save him from! Now they won't refund my money! Need i say more? If you're looking for competent, compassionate, honest professionals who can change lives, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!

I’ve literally been to so many treatment centers and had been using for over 10 years and I’m telling you right now this place helped me in so many ways.. I was nervous, scared even coming all the way across the country to try to fix myself. (From Pennsylvania). And The director John was the first person I met when I arrived and that man really cares. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and felt okay. Erica, the nurse did everything she could to make sure I was okay through my detox and the other staff were literally AMAZING. They all are in recovery and actually connect with you, make you feel like you’re not just a client there, but a friend. And they do everything they can to make this journey as easy as possible. Kasey was one of the best there and really made me feel good about myself and had so many talks with me and just really all of them gave me a new perspective on life. I can say this is the first place out of all the treatment centers that actually made me want to take my recovery serious. Being here, I learned how to put ME first. I learned how to love myself again and that there’s so much more to life than just getting high. So many opportunities and options for my future all because of them. I can’t thank any of them enough. I can proudly say that the person leaving this place is NOT the person that showed up on the front porch helpless and washed up. And I owe it all to them. Anyone who is truly serious about their recovery should go there. The house itself is beautiful, the rooms are all very nice and clean and I really can’t think of one bad thing to say about the place. ❤️ Thank you John, Kasey, Kendall and Erica for everything you guys have done for me and for all the insight you’ve given me on my addiction. I am greatful to have met every single one of you.

I have gone to several facilities and this is by far the best I have ever been to. Joe saved me. And the staff like Ben, and Dion is what made this place amazing. I hope to never ever come back but if I ever had to I would choose this place over and over again. I plan on staying sober for life because of this place. Good place but not organized. Made me pay for my own flight home.
