Starfish Place for Survivors of Human Trafficking

CBI works with survivors of human trafficking to create a safe, nurturing home to turn to. We want to begin the process of healing one day at a time. We aim to build strong families that are capable of sustaining recovery and thriving in their lives and communities.

In partnership with the City of Phoenix, we have created the Starfish Place Program. Starfish Place is a healthy home for survivors and their children, where they are treated with dignity and respect. A place to renew their spirit, learn essential life skills and begin recovery. Read More

Took my son there, they didn't have a nurse on duty. So they released him 4 hours away from home. Took him back when they had a nurse. 23 hours into withdraw. They said they had no beds. Let him go again. They were no help at all..

This review is for Center for Hope. I was homeless, pregnant and addicted, having just lost my rights to my 3 other children when they took me in. I was able to keep my baby because of this program. I ended up spending a total of 15 months there with my son. They provided everything for the both of us and gave me the skills to keep moving forward. I was also able to receive training to obtain my Peer Support Certification and was hired at Terros all while at CFH. I will be celebrating 4 years sober August 2nd and I owe that to this program and the amazing women who were there with me. I recommend this place to any pregnant woman struggling with addiction.

This review is for Aspire. Aweful. Their other office told me to go here for a re-fill prescription, so I drove across town, where I was told I needed an appt. when I came to my 8am appt they showed up at 8:15 then said they couldn’t help. That I had to go somewhere else.

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. My experience with community bridges is HORRIBLE. First off they hospitalized me against my will, when I told them countless times I didnt WANT or need the services. Well spent two days in the ER waiting for them to send me to a psychiatric ward, then had me ride in a ambulance two hours away to another hospital. Spent four days there. Got out and had NO way of getting home, had to call a buddy to come get me. Then here's the KICKER left me with ALL the bills and cost of the services I didnt want. Now I'm over 9k in debt because of them. I've contacted them via email and phone trying to get this sorted out and nobody will help me now, they just keep transferring me to different departments. So now I'm left with no choice but to seek legal counsel.

The staff there is inexperienced. They need more education on symptoms of withdrawal. Went to admit my sister and they told her that meth and cocaine wasn't that bad and that she wouldn't experience any withdrawals. They stated that she would just get tired and hungry and tried to send her home right away.
