Evidence Based Practices
Research shows that medication-assisted treatment (or MAT) is the gold standard for treating opioid use disorder.
CMS offers FDA-approved medications including methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone®/Subutex®/Sublocade™), and naltrexone (Vivitrol®), combined with counseling, in a judgement-free, compassionate environment.

Miles Cumminski2 StarWhen I first started at this clinic 3 years ago it was great. However, now they have put quantity over quality. They have very long wait times. I have a job and take homes. They are supposed to only take people with jobs for the first hour of operation. THAT IS NOT THE CASE! There is now a line that starts forming everyday at 3:45AM and they do not open until 4:30AM. If you have a lot of time to wait CMS is fine, but if you do have a job you might look elsewhere. Profits over patient care should be their new motto! One more thing, don't get too comfortable with your counselor. I have had at least over 10 counselors in 3 years.Thursday 9th September 2021

Donna Darner5 StarAfter having an opiate along with everything else addiction for 40 years Community Medical Methadone program has literally saved my life!! I started at the one in Arbor St.in Mesa approximately 7 years ago.I was skeptical at first myself. People seriously need to become educated regarding Methadone, especially most doctors in other practices .I'm one of those people who at 64 yrs will stay on it indefinitely. I'm never high. I just feel normal, no cravings ever and actually function as a normal human being.Thursday 20th May 2021
