Garden View Post-Acute Rehab

I love the things run at Garden view, the Nursing Staff is wonderful and nice and so is the Rehab Staff. I was very impressed and happy for the 3 Months that my wife there healing from her knee injury.She was discharge yesterday (5-14-18) and she still talks about how great the staff is,thank you again for taking good care of my wife.

This hasn't been rehab for me MORE like family the staff is great, I will truly miss them all .very clean environment, the physical therapy was unbelievable my therapist MANNY and HANS , I consider my friends. I wanna thank the ADMINISTRATION especially TREVOR LORDS , really made me very welcomed .

****NOT RECOMMENDED*** My mom was in this facility and honestly, they were constantly dropping the ball on getting my mom to her doctors appointments. I was always having to call them and speaking to the head Nurses. They just are not proactive enough. On top of that, my mom would ring for assistance for hours at night and no one would go to her room. My mother would call me between 3 and 5 am telling me to Please call them because they don’t come to her room to assist her. I’d call the front desk and it rang 25 times before someone answered the phone!! I literally had to get dressed at 5 am and go to the facility to find out why their night staff doesn’t answer the patients when they ring for help or answer the front desk phones. My mom was paralyzed from the waist down and had Cancer she was there recuperating from surgery but the staff here leaves a lot to be desired. To make matters worse, one of the male staff members yelled at my mom. When we reported it, they took my moms statement in front of me and said it would be investigated and that their head nurse would contact me, she never did. The only positive thing about this place is that it’s clean but their night staff is limited and they don’t help their patients or even answer the phone and they say they’re a 24 hour facility. The fact that they kept that make employee who yelled at my mom is a reflection of the poorly staff, poorly educated and poorly rated facility that it is. He guy that verbally abused my mom has some kind of physical disability, one eye is partially closed and on top of that has a bad attitude toward the elderly. He doesn’t belong working in this industry. So to anyone who is reading this, by day this place looks decent but at night, none of the patients are assisted. I heard several patients saying the same thing my mom was saying. They just let the patients ring and ring for help without ever checking on them. Shame on this facility for neglecting its patients this way. I hope they get sued.

This is such a great place. When I first came here I did not want to be at a facility, but I couldn't walk or even stand. But since day one the staff embraced me. The administrator Ryan made me feel like I was part of the family. The nurses and rehab staff gave me a lot of motivation. I took things day by day, and now I am able to walk and stand on my own. The nurses and Rehab staff embraced me and gave me the motivation to get better. They went above and beyond for my care. What ever I needed they helped me with. Not once did any nurse or staff disrespect me or not pay attention to me. I never felt like just a patient I felt like I was one of them. This is the place. If you ever need rehab this place will get you better.

The staff are excellent. Yes, we had our moments of contention, as people do in any such situation, but they are very friendly and professional. A resident at this facility has many opportunities for extra therapy and activities with knowledgeable and experienced personnel. The nurses and administration truly care about their residents. I love this facility and highly recommend it.
