The level of compassion and empathy that I received from Carey and his team was unlike anything I've ever experienced in the mental health industry. Their guidance in helping me and my family navigate the therapeutic field was second to none and I highly recommend their services.

We were so greatly impressed with Carey and his assistant Lisa! The compassion, empathy, patience and professionalism we received from Intervention ASAP was remarkable! We have used the services of another interventionist in the past and did not receive the care and commitment that we did with ASAP. I will not refer to any other interventionist as they do not come close to ASAP!

I'm pleased to recommend InterventionASAP as a profesisonal, ethical, responsible intervention company. Carey and Lisa are terrific and they are a delight to work with. I am very comfortable referring to them when I have difficult clinical situations that require psychiatric interventions, transportation, and family support. I recommend them without hesitation. Treatment and entering into the world of rehab is not an easy process, but completely necessary for many. In my case and my boyfriend’s it absolutely was. What’s NOT completely necessary is Carrey’s involvement in ANYONE’S treatment. This man should work as far away from the recovery community as possible. Along with disrespect, I can remember and list several accounts in which Carrey’s professionalism was nonexistent, at best. My boyfriend has a chronic back injury from falling down our stairs and from military training, as well as from high school football. Upon withdrawing from opiates and being in extreme physical pain, (which he knew would happen but willingly did anyway as he was ready to shed his addiction) somewhere in this awful time, Carrey had the nerve to tell him that his pain was “made up”, “not real”, and Carrey wasn’t “convinced the injury had ever happened” despite being shown medical bill after medical bill, his father defending his condition, and my boyfriend needing to go to Mayo Clinic for back pain (not to be confused with WD pain) after ceasing opiates. Carrey did not sit awake with my boyfriend all of those sleepless nights. Carrey did not attend the doctor’s appointment where we were informed he has FIVE herniated discs in his back. As a matter of fact, collectively, Carrey did almost nothing during this particular process other than gather a paycheck from my father, stick his nose and unsolicited opinion in every crevice possible, piss off and lose the respect of BOTH sets of parents involved, including the respect of myself and my SO, and hide behind his “professional titles” thinking not only were we stupid enough to think they ultimately meant anything but also that we didn’t find out his reputation was really laughable at best in the local recovery community. My impression and opinion of Carrey upon meeting him was generally positive, but that quickly slipped into extreme and open dislike. I could and would love to go on, but this is the most profound thing i wanted to discuss and will not waste my breath going on further about my disgust with this tiny man. Find somebody else, especially if having your boundaries pushed and your loved ones to be made victims and called dishonest is a nope from you.
