Jericho Project

In philosophy of instinctive self, self-awareness is the experience of one's own personality or individuality. It is not to be confused with consciousness in the sense of qualia. While consciousness is awareness of one's physical body and surroundings. Instinctive self-awareness is the enlightened state-of-mind that realizes one's responsibility to self, community and environment. Self-control, an aspect of instinctive inhibitory control, is the ability to regulate one's emotions, thoughts, and behavior in the face of temptations and impulses. As an executive function, self-control is a cognitive process that is necessary for regulating one's behavior in order to achieve specific instinctive goals.

My nephew went into this program. When he went in he was using and running the streets. He had been in and out of prison throughout the years and just couldn’t seem to stop. Being a recovering addict myself I know how hard it can be. I now have 6 years clean and I’m very grateful for that. When he was accepted into The Jericho Project it was an answered prayer. I didn’t know what was gonna happen with him but I had this great feeling inside. I can now say it was the best decision he has ever made! He is now clean from all substances, working, and sounds happy and looks amazing! When I speak to him I can hear the change in his voice and I have to say I cried with joy! Just knowing he now has a future and has a lot to look forward to with his new life! Thank you Jericho Project for taking him in and saving his life! 🙌🏼♥️ I love you mijo and I’m so proud of you in a million ways! 😘

Jericho has helped me change my life in ways I never thought possible. I was a kid when I got sentenced there for a my drug abuse and came out a man who puts all my priorities first. I only wish I went there a little bit earlier. I learned how to be responsible and how to live a clean and sober lifestyle. I am now a certified personal trainer, in school to get my Exercise Physiology degree and a father to my 2 amazing boys. None of this would be possible without Jericho. I want to thank the program director, intake director, and all other staff for helping me get my life on track. This is the place where you want to go if you ACTUALLY want to change your life completely and are tired of living how you are now. Thank you!

This program changed my life , I went from an alcoholic loser who was going to jail , and losing jobs to being sober now for two years and working at one of the largest mining companies in California. I found out that who I really was and this program. My life has turned out way more positive, I'm no longer seen as an issue but someone that my family can look up to , and count on. Thanks to the Jericho Project.
