I went to the co-ed house in Novato right after I got out of treatment. The private room I had was nice and Julie was always very accommodating. I was given the opportunity to become the house manager at the women's house in San Rafael, we have a very strong community at the house. All the women are working a program and support each other, I couldn't feel better and safe in this home. Jerry has been great to meet our needs in a timely manner.

I had the opportunity to stay at two of the sober living homes that are owned by Luminous Sober Living during my time with them. My primary room was at the women's house in San Rafael where those of us who chose to stay sober were working our own program of recovery. For a few days, I stayed at the coed house where all residents were also working their own program of recovery, as it is an individual transformative experience. I will always be grateful to Julie for the kindness she showed me when I needed it the most. I never met the owner in person but on the phone he was always a pleasure to speak to. An SLE is a safe place for people with addiction disorder to live, it is not a center of rehabilitation. Thank you for being there for all of us!

The Luminous home provides a safe, structured peaceful and clean environment that have greatly assisted me in early recovery. This home has helped keep me accountable. Awesome women, lots of support, wonderful house parent. The girls in our house are very close and supportive of one another as we all have one common goal. The owner Jerry is very accommodating, approachable and understanding. I feel very safe and serene here. I am so grateful I found Luminous Sober Living.

The place is not kept up. The house manager was not doing 12 step work which was suggested for residents. Practically no sober support, felt like a high price room for rent and not what I expected in a properly run SLE. It feels like the owner Jerry is merely in it as a business opportunity, sadly.

This is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. It is five minutes from Downtown San Rafael, with easy freeway and bus access. Luminous house has been invaluable to my recovery process, providing a comfortable, peaceful, structured environment to return to. The house is pretty quiet. The women here are supportive and friendly. I've had a great experience here.
