My 91 year old father was placed here after a hospital stay so that he could rebuild up his strength. He was there for 21 days with very little care. What I mean is basic care that any human being should be able to get and this is suppose to be a 24 /7 hour care facility. He seemed dehydrated and always hungry. He had a broken finger during his stay, and nobody even noticed that he was messing with his finger because it wouldn't bend. My nephew brought it to their attention and yet no one checked it out or even splinted it. Now too much time has gone by to perhaps correct it without surgery. My fathers is too old for surgery so he will most likely never be able to bend that finger again. One day, my nephew came in and found a cold breakfast on a chair and my Fathers med next to them. This had been sitting there for hours. They were too far away for my Father to even get to them. I would call multiple times during the day and the phone at the nurses station would just ring and ring. No one hardly answers the phone. It was very frustrating because I could not get updates on my Dad each day. I think my Dad thought that we had left him there to die and he got even more depressed. But it was difficult to make contact with him. He was not able to get to the phone for his bed. Apparently the phone was behind him and he was not able to get to it. And it was almost next to impossible to get anyone to answer any phones except the main operator. I would not recommend this place for your loved ones, because of the lack of basic care.

Do not bring your loved ones here. The lobby and outside may look nice but once you go past those things, you see it’s not nice at all. It seems like 90% of the people who work here absolutely hate their life and job. I want sent food to my very weak Dad and once it was delivered it took 45 minutes to get to his room. My dad cannot get the care that he needs because they never have enough staff. I can’t wait to get him out of this place.

Father pushed call button for help to go to the bathroom, prescription eye drops, etc and would wait an hour or two. I actually called thru the switchboard to the nurses station to get someone to take him to the bathroom.. Room mate would fall out of bed on a mattress and call button pushed to help him. Father would go in hallway in the middle of the night and yell for help,, because call button brought no help. Case manager very helpful and assistant director very helpful in trying to resolve complaints, but so short staffed unable to take care of residents properly.

My sister was sent here after being at Promise. I’m sad she was moved to this place, I need to find out how my sister is doing. They don’t answer their phones at all!!!! Staff is not caring !!! If left here I’m afraid my sister won’t make it!!! Please send her back to promise. It may not be a pretty place, but at least they cared and took great care of my sister. I want to get call and someone answer!!! I need to get her out of here ASAP

My son Eric Florence was a patient at your facility for 2 months and received excellent care. The staff were so helpful and went above their duties. When I visited they answered my questions and were so kind. I loved that the therapists pushed him. Thank you to all your wonderful staff. We would recommend you highly.
