New Life House is the pioneer of age-specific sober living. It has been successfully helping men ages 18 to 35 years old recover from alcohol and drug abuse. Unlike most sober living homes, our houses provide a long-lasting recovery community in a structured and supportive setting.
Teenagers and young adults who use drugs can damage their still-developing brains. The human brain continues to grow and develop until a person’s mid-20s, which means a lot of damage can take place during addiction. Sober living in Los Angeles County is a solution for many people when learning how to live without drugs and alcohol. Young men trapped on a non-stop rollercoaster ride of addiction can use our program as a pivotal transformation process.
Rather than just focusing on abstinence from drugs and alcohol, New Life House incorporates a whole-person approach. We designed our holistic program specifically to help young men between the ages of 18 and 35. We do this through the implementation of services such as life skills, partnered individualized therapy, and partnered holistic treatment.

Braden Bolin5 StarNew Life has saved my life. Just in the past four years I have been to seven treatment centers, all of which failed to provide me with the tools necessary to stay sober. Most of them lacked structure and lacked community, an essential part of what is needed to stay sober. New Life, in summary, has given me these tools and community that I so longed for in my other treatments. So much so that I refer to it as my own home. Somewhere I feel safe and welcome, somewhere in which lives are saved, families are reconnected and lifelong friendships are built. I could write a novel trying to articulate what this place did for me that I could not do for myself. When I arrived at new life I was defeated , I couldn’t walk, my organs were shutting down, I was on the verge of death and hopeless. New Life helped me not only stay sober but completely rebuild my life into something I never though was possible . I’ve got family and friends that love me and I’m proud to say I’m Sober today! kirill reiner5 StarBefore coming into New Life my life an on going downward spiral. I did not know how to provide for myself nor did I have any personal connections. My family life was slowly deteriorating. New life has given me a second chance to rebuild the wreckage that I have caused to myself and others. Through the structure of the house I now have an everlasting community of guys that I can call my brothers, my family is now a giant part of my life, and I no longer feel the need to drink or use drugs to live a happy and purposeful life.Monday 14th March 2022
Tyler Hamlin5 StarI came into newlife house a broken person with a broken family and a broken spirit. I was addicted to a substance that I could not stop using no matter how hard I tried. I had felony’s and was facing over a year in jail and no one in my life trusted me. I did not come to newlife by choice but after about 3 months of commitment to being open minded and living with rigorous honestly and putting in the work I started to love myself again and call this place my home, I’ve built lasting relationships with the guys in the house and with the management team , I’ve been able to repair my family life and make amends. I have a sponsor and guys I can rely on when I need them. New life truly gave me everything and I probably wouldn’t be alive today if it weren’t for them .
