Next Steps for Women

is a process, place and philosophy – born out of the necessity for gender specific, long-term support for women who seek inspiration, connection and esteem through creative resources.

is for women of any age who are engaged in recovery and sobriety – new and long-term; who are struggling with addiction; who are interested in an alternative, nourishing place to heal, restore, change and grow.

is an accessible private studio – outside of an agency or treatment program.  It offers a woman the space and freedom to creatively explore her relationship with food, alcohol, prescription and/or other drugs.

courses are designed for small groups, known as Women’s Circles – where the expressive arts tools of creative writing, drawing, and movement activities inform and support the curriculum.

Each Women’s Circle meets once a week.
Clients are welcome to participate in more than one Women’s Circle per week.
Women’s Circles are available for young women.

All Next Steps For Women programs compliment life, psychotherapy and twelve-step programs. No art or movement experience is necessary – just a desire for expression, growth and change.
