ABOUT US

We are an Out Patient Treatment Program treating Opiate Use Disorder using Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT). We offer MAT in the form of Methadone in our Methadone Maintenance Program as well as our 21‑Day Detoxification Program. 

PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS

SRTP maintains the philosophy that Opiate Use Disorder is a complicated and chronic condition involving metabolic, psychological, and sociological variables, which may result in persistent drug use despite negative consequences.

We believe that the reasons people develop an Opiate Use Disorder are unique to the individual. Because each client is unique in their Opiate Use Disorder, SRTP provides individualized treatment approaches in our Methadone Maintenance and Detoxification programs.

THE TREATMENT AND PROGRAM GOALS OF SRTP ARE:

1) Substantial insight by clients of the ways in which their drug use has negatively impacted their life, and the development of productive and healthy support systems with family and "significant others";

2) Substantial improvement in, and the maintenance of, the client's physical and mental health;

3) Substantial life‑style change that are specific to clients Treatment Plan goals, examples could include, stable employment or employability, improved health and wellness, and cessation of illegal activities.

4) These goals can be accomplished only through cooperative effort between the client and the program staff.
