I have had a very nice positive experience here. I am excited about going back home now that I am better but I will miss everyone here. The nurses were attentive and in my opinion it has been a wonderful experience for me to get better. My stay here has been comfortable, my room clean and always received good service from the staff. I participated in many activities during my stay, some of my favorites were bingo and happy hour. I am leaving physically stronger and very satisfied with my care.

I try to schedule appointment many times to see my family member who stay at this nursing home and they are unable to accommodate. I am fully vaccinated and comply with the rule but still having a hard time of coming to see my uncle. I was told once since my uncle came to this facility that I can schedule appointment in advance and any family member can come using that appointment as long as we are fully comply with the rule however when a family member came to the scheduled appointment they would not let them in. This is unacceptable that your love one stay here and you only allow to visit 15 minutes every other day per social worker.

My mother had a bad fall and was transitioned to the Avenues. The staff are compassionate and caring. They were even able to facilitate the Covid vaccine for my mom, assist us with a safe way to visit her through the pandemic, and also were able to assist us with communicating with her on a daily basis. She's been receiving physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. She's on her third week and there's been a great improvement with her communication with us.

We are glad we decided on this facility for our family member... they have Cantonese speaking staff which was great help. My family member was able to complete rehab and return home quickly!
