I cannot understand the negative reviews at all. There was no sitting in rooms staring at walls, or nurses with attitudes. Days were filled with recovery based workshops and meetings. I met with counselors routinely and was kept informed of my status at all times. This is not a detox and sit around place at all. They are focused on giving you the tools you need to continue a path to lifelong recovery. You ABSOLUTELY must do the work yourself, but everyone from staff to my fellow patients were completely supportive and recovery driven. Can't recommend it highly enough.

A truly special place. Great staff and food. Met some incredible people that I'll always remember for the rest of my life. Was terrified of rehab upon getting there. That was soon alleviated by the friendly, caring staff and the patients who were so welcoming. Was reminded by several patients who have been to various rehabs that CVH is a pretty great place compared to what's out there. Hope this was in some small way helpful to you if you're suffering, or on the fence about treatment. You are worth it.

This was hands-down the greatest experience I’ve ever had and change the course of my life forever. If you are sitting there staring at your phone thinking about going, just surrender and go. I promise you that is not what you think. The staff is amazing and caring. The food is incredible. The plan that they follow to get you to change your life is genius. I would recommend this place to anyone in need in a heartbeat. And to those complaining About relapsing when they left, it is on YOU to use the tools you learn here to stay sober when you leave because I promise you they do everything in their power to help you. Please put your phone down and go right now, you will come out a better person and you will not regret it I promise. I am now 42 days sober and I owe it all to every single person at Chandler Valley hope including the incredible and amazing patients I met along the way in my journey

I went here for help and I wished I could say that I received it but I didn’t!! My 2nd counseling session, I opened up a bit more to the counselor and she violated hipa by contacting my husband and told him everything I said during that session. Which was not her place to do!! If you’ve suffered from a childhood trauma like me, it’s my place to tell my husband and that’s if I choose to do so!! I seriously should’ve sued this place! Because I’ve heard horror stories!!

Everyone seems to care and want the best for people but they give you no entertainment or mind stimulation during detox, you sit in a hotel room with nothing except a dresser , for me I can't sit and stare at blank walls for days I need my phone or a television or something to occupy your mind instead of sitting there and thinking about your addiction, they need to do better as far as giving stimulation most people can't just stare at walls for days and be okay, a TV would make a world of difference
